1st July 2007 Windsurfing: Felixstowe Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: 16-18ffsc.co.uk Surf / Sea State: rollers and some chop Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 15 Weather: cloudy then sunny Max Speed: 25.6over 1 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 24.4 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Got on water about mid-day and finished 4pm. Rigged 6m and 5.2m, with most time on 5.2 with new RDM. When tide changed a bit of trouble keeping upwind so changed to 32cm fin. Excellent session with about 9 out and 6 kites. Most gybes cam off until I cam in for a rest then most failed - why is that. Had another rest then went out again and things worked again. great to see people out and enjoying the day. |
